The World War II is known as the Second World War. The War began in 1939 and lasted unitl 1945.
The World War II involved the majority of the world's nations which formed two oposing alliances the Allies and the Axis

The Axis:
- Germany
- Italy
- Japan
It was one of the largest wars in history, more than 100 million people serving in military units from over 30 countries. It was likely the deadliest conflict in human history as it resulted in 50 million to 75 million dead people.
