Today we had to draw out pictures with ink which was something new cause I never drew a picture with ink only. So it was helpfull for me. To draw our pictures before the session we had to go find few Sticks outside which for me seemed wierd but then Sam told us that we have to draw with the sticks which was another new thing casue not only we were drawing with ink we were drawing using a stick.
Today I was trying to make my work not look perfect so i wasant trying to get all the lines nice and straight like i always did because Same told me that i need to make my work more random so i did and I think it looked a lot better than it normally did because of the way i drew it i was using the side of the charcoal so the lines are nice and thin.
Evaluation
Today we tried to make our work bit like Nicholson we made a collage but didint cover the full picture we used only a bit of tissue/brown paper on our work so it looks a bit like his work.
Today we were creating a collage we drew out picture as normal then we started making the collage sticking the bits of tissue paper in, as well as that we tried to make our collage link to Ben Nicholson's work.
Today we did some life drawing we had to draw 4 pictures on A1 Paper I think my were looking alright but then after that we had to do One Big Drawing on A1 and then we had to create a collage on that drawing which was alright as well we used different stuff to last week like today we made a collage and we were able to do what ever we wanted for our Last/Final one.
Today I learnt that I need to be much more careful with what I’m doing in the room and Try to use the side of charcoal so the lines are thin and not thick and heavy.

Ben Nicholson
His first notable work was following a meeting with the playwright J. M. Barrie on holiday in Rustington, Sussex in 1904. As a result of this meeting, Barrie used a drawing by Nicholson as the base for a poster for the play Peter Pan; his father William designed some of the costumes.
Nicholson was exempted from World War I military service due to asthma. He travelled to New York in 1917 for an operation on his tonsils, and then visited other American cities, returning to Britain in 1918.
Before he returns, Nicholson's mother dies in July of influenza and his brother Anthony Nicholson is killed in action.
